TRANSPORTATION

TRAIN | BUS | CAR/BIKE

Due to the vagarities and cost of Parking, Public Transport is the preferred method of attendance to ConOrg '98.

TRAIN TRAVEL

All sydney suburban train services pass through Central Station. For UTS (Markets Campus) alight at Central railway station and take the eastern exits to Railway Square/George Street. Turn right at Railway Square, then left into Quay Street. UTS (Markets Campus, Haymarket) is two blocks down Quay Street on the left, just past Her Majesty's Theatre.

CAR / BICYCLE / FOOT

UTS Markets Campus is within easy walking distance from Central Station, Chinatown, Darling Harbour, the Monorail and the Entertainment Centre Light Rail Station.

There are many bicycle parking (that is: places to chain your bike to) sites at UTS on Quay Street, just outside the Law Building, Block 5.

DRIVING & PARKING

There is little car parking space available on a per day basis (especially weekends) as UTS Markets Campus is both close to Paddys Markets, Darling Harbour, the Sydney Entertainment Centre, Chinatown and (obviously) the University. Thus parking will be at a premium. Parking is unfortunately limited to street meter parking and user pay parking stations. The suggestion is to park in one of the following areas (if you must drive in):
